It is kind of satisfying having a bit less ingredient prep to do because of the huge apple sized feed chute on the Kuvings Slow Juicer. If you plan to produce lots of green juices from leafy greens the big mouth feature can also be a help when feeding these, but for a busy family that wants premium nutritional quality juice made up largely of fruits and hard veggies, the size of the chute cuts down most of the preparation. One thing we really like about this juicer is the brush you get to help clean the screen! Kuvings ‘cleaning tool’ is a really innovative gadget that fits snugly around the whole juice filter. Its stiff bristles make contact with the whole surface of the screen in a single twist of the wrist. Twiddle it under running water and the fibres are quickly brushed from the filter holes. This is a really innovative addition to the convenience of using this slow juicer and anything that makes clean up less of a chore gets our vote.

Like some of the other slow juicers in our range, it can become a multifunction kitchen tool to some extent if you choose the optional smoothie screen and homogenizing screen optional extra. The smoothie screen is a larger hole juice filter giving a more textured drink. The blank homogenizing screen allows you to make frozen fruit ice cream, nut butters, purees, sauces and more. Primarily though, you will probably mainly be using it as a juicer and the Kuvings Whole SlowJuicer perfoms that task flawlessly, with great juice yield and excellent nutritional quality.
