Freshield Elite II Vacuum Sealer Kit

Preserve your dehydrated foods and other perishable goods for even longer storage periods with the Freshield Elite II Vacuum Sealer. Available with different vacuum sealer bags and sealing roll options, the powerful vacuum pump on the Fresherpack can remove air from an area up to 31cm wide and automatically seal the vacuum preserved contents in just seconds. This eliminates the bothersome issue of early oxidisation of your foods and preserves the nutritional value, flavour and aromatics for up to five times longer than conventional storage methods.

The Freshield Elite II Vacuum Sealer comes as a kit with a 3 metre Roll of bags with 185 mm seal length, a 3 metre Roll of bags with 260 mm seal length, 10 x 185 x 280 mm Bags, 10 x 260 x 360 mm Bags, a handy Bag/Roll Cutter and a tube for connection to vacuum sealer containers.

Freshield Elite Vacuum Packer Demonstration

Vacuum sealing protects and preserves both nutrients and volatile essential oils and aromatics from the destructive effects of early oxidation by eliminating oxygen at the point of storage. By removing the air before sealing, the time you invest in preserving the nutritional values in your foods with a dehydrator is made even more wothwhile. The Fresherpack Vacuum Sealer is also great for extending the shelf life of fresh foods, sealing in flavour and goodness.

The Freshield is perfect for sealing in the flavour of fresh or freshly dried herbs, flowers and pot pourri because you have complete control of the vacuuming process. Delicate items can be protected from crushing by stopping the suction at any point and sealing at the just the right moment. You can also operate it automatically with the specially designed vacuum sealer bags and rolls with one button operation.

This vacuum packer by Freshield is also a great kitchen helper for all creative cooks. Vacuum sealing is a perfect way to marinate food and can be used in the sous-vide cooking technique, where food can either be cooked right there in the vacuum sealed bag in a bain marie, or recipes prepared earlier can be re-heated in the same way, preserving and enhancing the flavours in your favourite dishes while they are stored for fast and convenient use at a later date.

Unlike normal bags, the specially designed vacuum sealing bags and rolls have embossed texture to allow them to stretch and mould perfectly around the items you are preserving so that all the excess air is eliminated. The rolls allow you to custom cut sealing pouches to the size you want and using the 'seal only' button on the Freshield Elit II will even allow you to to make smaller bags from the other sizes of sealer bag as well as the rolls if you wish.
