My experience with the Kuvings vacuum blender has been very positive. I have used it for 2 months. - After a short time of use, you get accustomed to it - and it is absolutely not difficult to use. Soon it becomes very clear, that this is a very well constructed blender - and this explains the price. This is not a discount-machine, but one that is built for really serious people, who know what they want. One of the nicest features of the Kuvings vacuum blender is the noise reduction shield. Of course this will not eliminate the noise, but it is quite efficient in reducing the noise, so that it becomes tolerable. If you blend daily, this is quite important. The noise reduction shield is one of the reasons, that the blender is much bigger and taller, than I had expected .... I was really astonished, when I received it, but because it looks quite good, I am okay today with the size of the machine. I am glad, that I chose a white one and not a black one. The vacuumization gives you smoothies, who taste better and looks better, because they aren’t oxydized. Therefor carrots keep their original colour and don’t become brown. - Another very important feature is the vacuum storage tumbler: With this you can pour the smoothies into the tumbler, vacuum-seal it, and store it into the refrigerator. This is a huge step forward, because under vacuum the smoothies (or fresh juices from your juicing machine) will keep fresh longer in the fridge, and the taste won’t degrade. It is fascinating to look at the vacuumization-process, when bubbles go up to the surface: When the vacuumization stage is over, the machine will blend fully automatically. It is really convenient. But in order to have a perfect vacuum-function you have to clean it immediately after use - and do it thoroughly. Cleaning is made quickly, and it is in no way difficult. But you really have to keep the parts of the machine, who are important to the vacuumization, absolutely clean - and if you don’t, the blender will give you a message, that there are problems with the vacuum-function. - Also, if you overfill the blender, the machine will warn you with a message. If you clean it - which is super-easy - and if you don’t overfill the blender, it will function absolutely perfectly. I “only” give it 4 stars and not 5, because you do have to take care of this. The 1.500 watt motor is very strong, and it is air-cooled, so that it will never overheat. There are absolutely no problems with crushing frozen berries or almonds. Therefor the warranty gives you 10 years on the motor, and 2 years on parts. This is completely different from the cheap discount-blenders, who “die” after a few years. Before I bought the machine, it wasn’t quite clear to me that the aforementioned tumbler - Kuvings Vacuum Blender SV-500 Tumbler - is an accessory that follows the machine - but it really is. Because I didn’t know this, I ordered one, so now I have two tumblers. But this is good, because now I can make two different smoothies in advance and keep them super-fresh in the refrigerator. I will give the blender my full recommendation. - Jens from Denmark.

      • Brilliant Blender

I've had one of these blenders now for a few months and it's just brilliant. It stops rapid oxidation (when using the Vacuum feature) that happens in things like apples and other fruits. I also purchased some extra storage vessels (you get one with the blender) which can also have a vacuum applied to it which helps preserve the contents for a longer period. You also get an excellent warranty. I also own a Kuvings slow juicer and thats another super piece of kit, so easy to clean after my Champion.
