The asymmetric 6 pronged blade on the New Dualit Blender uses VortecS® technology to ensure the smoothest blends and with a massive kilowatt of power driving the process, you will be hard pushed to find a more competent household blender at this price point. With four speed settings, manual pulse, auto pulse and ice crush feature, every blending task is catered for at the touch of a button on the wipe clean control panel.
The soft start automatic pulse function is great for bringing smoothie ingredients into the path of the blades for super-smooth results and the manual pulse function is great for chopping and crushing tasks. With the additional four speed settings to choose from and a comprehensive instruction manual which includes recipes, learning to drive the Dualit VortecS Blender is a breeze.
Also new for the DBL4 Blender from Dualit is a Tritan shatterproof jar which is BPA free. More and more manufacturers are using BPA free polymers to make their food storage and preparation products in order to meet consumers expectations on safety. Dualit have been quick to adopt this new super strong material for their blenders. The jar has two directional fins incorporated into its internal profile to create an irregular blending pattern which eliminates the annoying problem of unblended lumps in the end result.

Great blender
Just bought one of these to start my 2013 NY resolution of eating more fruit and veg. Great service from UKJuicers – very happy with the service.
Was considering a lot of the higher priced Kitchen Aid like blenders but glad i went for this one. Chrome finish looks great on kitchen counter. Pourer is solid and looks and feels like a glass version. Overall it looks like a solid, quality, high priced blender should. Initial tests with hard veg blended down very well. Really impressed. Think this is going to be my new favourite gadget for the next few months!

Very good, but not perfect
Firstly, as with other reviews, UK juicers service was excellent -arrived next day thank you.
The Dualit unit itself is solid a reliable. The vortex effect fins on the jug really do provide a benefit and the blending action is quick and efficient, with no areas left behind. The motor and controls are powerful and power through whole fruits etc very quickly. My only moan with it is that it claims to be fully dishwasher proof, but in fact the blade assembly in the base of the jug is not. There is a tool provided to dismantle the blade assembly, but this is next to useless and I have never been successful in taking it apart. Its not normally much of a problem if I run some water through it after a mix to clean it up, but it could have been engineered a lot better and I’d expect better quality design from a premium brand like this.
