Stainless Steel Dehydrators

A Stainlees Steel Dehydrator is often preferred for food hygiene reasons, particularly ​for Commercial Food Dehydrator applications and they are also a little more hard wearing and resilient than some plastic tray versions. Stainless Dehydrators are also a good choice if you want to produce meat based recipes like jerky and pet treats, where the trays need to be really tough to withstand heavy duty cleaning.  Of course using tray liners or sheets can make this less of an issue in any food dehydrator but there’s no doubt that stainless steel will always outlive plastic, 100% of the time.
