GEO Smart Greens Microgreens Growing Kit

The GEO Smart Greens Microgreen Kit features a compact and stylish green reservoir tray, with two inner trays that each hold a layer of water-retaining clay pebbles (included as hydroponic substrate), for optimal moisture distribution. Each inner tray sits in or above the water reservoir and the clay pebbles retain water like a sponge, to provide the perfect root medium for both germination and growing of vibrant microgreens. Fill the reservoir, add the trays, sprinkle seeds onto the moist clay pebbles and you’re ready to watch the magic happen.

This dip-and-drain hydroponic system makes watering your microgreens incredibly simple. Just keep the reservoir topped up with water, and periodically rotate the trays to hydrate them. Each of the two inner trays can be immersed in the reservoir for watering. Then, lift them out, rotate them ninety degrees, and they will sit higher in the reservoir tray, allowing the clay pebbles to drain excess water. Twin trays allow simultaneous growing of multiple varieties and also allow for crop rotation if you stage the planting times with a few days gap between sowing the trays.
