The unbroken smooth outline of the blender is provided by the domed noise reducing enclosure. Normally reserved for commercial blenders, Kuvings are the first to offer the advantage of quieter blending in a premium household blender and the noise reducing cover also cleverly provides the airway for the vacuum pump in the motor base. This empties the air from the jug before blending, or from the separate vacuum tumbler if you want to store a blended recipe for later with minimal nutrient loss.
